In honour of Women’s History Month, we want to highlight six amazing and talented independent female artists who we believe deserve more listeners. Each of these artists brings something unique to the table, with distinct sounds and creative styles that set them apart.

Michelle Lee Bae, professionally known as min.a, is a NYC-based independent artist in the indie-pop genre, drawing inspiration from 2000s music as well. She currently has 29K monthly listeners and made her debut on May 23, 2018, with the single “sage”. Her debut EP Hi-Fi was released on March 13, 2020.
Since her debut, min.a has consistently released music, including two more EPs: i hope i get well soon on October 18, 2022, and are you watching at all? on May 17, 2024.
In 2025, she released two singles: “used to’s” on April 25 and “bite” on October 3. Her latest single, “good fight”, dropped on February 27, 2026.
min.a is an artist we’ve been following since “used to’s,” and it has been exciting to watch her musical growth over the years.

Brooke Butler is an artist and actress born in Malibu, California. She is best known for playing “Ellie” in the digital series Chicken Girls. She currently has 5.6K monthly listeners and made her musical debut on August 25, 2022, with the single “In the Center”. On July 8, 2024, she released her debut EP ‘Til My Last Breath, followed by her second EP, Emotion Sick, on September 24, 2024.
We recently discovered Brooke on TikTok while she was promoting her latest single, “The Boy & The Bear”, which dropped on January 27, 2026.

Michele Lu is an alternative pop artist based in Los Angeles with around 27.5K monthly listeners. She made her debut on May 6, 2022, with the single “Seattle”. After her debut, she released her second single, “Shotgun”, on May 24, 2024.
She followed this with “Navel” on December 5, and most recently released “Meant To Be” on February 13, 2026 which is the we discovered her by.

Reignn Acedera is a Filipino-American artist from New Jersey with around 150 monthly listeners. She made her debut on December 6, 2021, with the single “You Got Me in My Feels”.
We first discovered Reignn after the release of “Hold Me” on December 19, 2023, a collaboration with Is4iah and Arman Justin. One of the standout tracks from her discography is “home”, which dropped on October 10, 2024.
So far in 2026, she has released “Mahal Na Mahal Na Mahal” on January 21. She is also set to release a new single titled “only you” on March 21, which you can pre-save here.

VIBI (pronounced like Phoebe with a V) is a Canadian singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles with 71.9K monthly listeners. She was also a contestant on the Netflix series Building the Band (Season 1).
She made her debut on December 16, 2021, with the single “Satellite”. Since then, she has consistently released new music, including her debut EP we had fun, didn’t we?, which dropped on October 25, 2024. A deluxe version followed on February 28, 2025.
Her latest release is the single “nobody’s watching”, which came out on September 19, 2025. We first discovered VIBI through this song when it appeared on our Spotify shuffle.

Dani Marchio is a pop artist from Western Synden with 28.7K monthly listeners. She made her debut on October 31, 2024 with the single “Daydreamer”.
Following her debut, she released “U Want Me Anyway” on March 20, 2025, and “happy 4 u” on June 25, 2025 which is the track which we discovered her. She continued with “Safe Place” on August 28, 2025, and her latest single, “Sweet,” was released on October 15, 2025.
