The duo formed in 2020 after meeting at a fundraiser following the Beirut explosion. Their name, “Kazdoura,” means “to stroll” in Levantine Arabic, which feels fitting for their music as they effortlessly blend traditional Arabic sounds with psychedelic rock, funk, jazz, and soul.

Kazdoura made their debut on October 1, 2021, with the single “Wain,” which served as a pre-release track for their debut EP, Wain, released on June 24, 2022. Since then, they have consistently released new music, eventually returning with their first full-length album, Ghoyoum, on March 15, 2025. The album features their single “Khayal,” which is actually how we discovered Kazdoura earlier this year. So far in 2026, the duo has released one single, “Taa,” in collaboration with A COLORS SHOW.
