Rhea Raj’s ‘Commotion’ Tour Delivers a High-Energy Show in Toronto

On December 4, 2025, NYC based American electro-pop/pop singer-songwriter Rhea Raj delivered a high-energy show at The Garrison in Toronto for her ‘Commotion’ tour. This was the second stop on her five city tour.

The night kicked off at 8PM with a high-energy set from artist, writer, and producer Slush Puppy, whose songwriting credits already speak for themselves. His fiery performance set the tone for the rest of the show, and the crowd went wild for his remix of KATSEYE’s “Gnarly.”

Rhea Raj took the stage at 9 PM alongside her incredible dancers, Christopher Aguirre and Joshua Jackson. She opened with her track “Commotion” from her latest album, COMMOTION+, which the tour celebrates.

Throughout her set, Rhea delivered fan favourites like “Haute Couture,” “MESSY,” and our personal favourite, “Mumbai.” She also performed songs from her 2024 album HUNTER, singing her songs “HUSH,” “PRAY ON IT,” and “SUCKER.” A stripped-down version of “Killer” added a gorgeous intimate moment and honestly, her energy was literally killer. She radiates star power and she was born for the stage.

We enjoyed her set so much that we genuinely didn’t want the night to end. Rhea brings a sound, aesthetic, and level of performance that no one else is doing right now. As a South Asian artist, she also represents her community so beautifully, from lotus imagery in her music to a stunning “Bharatnatyam” dance break that had the crowd in awe. Her dancers elevated everything even further and the three of them together were electric.

Rhea even teased unreleased music, including a track called “Heartless.” When someone in the crowd shouted “drop it now,” we couldn’t have agreed more.

We’re already counting down the days until we get to see Rhea again.
