On Rotation: September 2026
By Brenessa Roach | September 30, 2026
We cannot believe that September is already over. This month was filled with so many songs that put us in our feels. Unintentionally, a lot of the songs we had on repeat were about heartbreak, the past, growth, and everything in between, but we loved every second of it. These songs truly shaped our month and captured all the feelings that came with it.

“The Time of My Life” is such a beautiful song and easily our most-replayed song of the month. The song is about a past relationship of Benson’s, where his partner left him right as he was experiencing success and fame. It’s incredibly heartbreaking, and we love the lyrics, production, and overall emotion of the song.

“cherry flavoured love inside your heart” is a track from wave to earth’s latest album, bad pieces. The album marks a new direction and sound for wave to earth, and we absolutely love what they’ve done with it. This song is about finding hope and healing through connection, even in a difficult and complicated world.

“You” by beaux is such a catchy song that we rediscovered this month and immediately had on repeat. It explores themes of unrequited love, regret, emotional distress, and everything in between. It’s an emotional one that definitely puts you in your feels, while also giving you that main-character energy straight out of a 2000s movie.

“Walking On Clouds” is a track from The Rose’s latest album, ROSE. The album is a complete no-skip for us and one of their last releases before their hiatus. This track explores the painful realization of being too deep into a relationship or situation to turn back, while balancing that feeling with the bittersweet desire to stay suspended in a dream rather than face the harsh realities waiting below. It is such a beautiful song.

“matter of time” by Lyle Kam is a track that explores themes of insecurity, emotional burnout, and the inevitable fear of disappointing someone you care about. The production is so beautiful, especially the acoustic guitar, which pairs perfectly with the lyrics. This song feels like the perfect transition from summer into autumn.

“Your favorite flowers” is a beautiful song that captures the bittersweet process of moving on from a past relationship and learning to see that person in a new, more platonic way. MICO is one of our favourite singers, and this song is easily one of our favourites from him. We also love the rock production.

“white lies” is such a catchy indie-pop track about trying to convince yourself that you are finally over an ex-partner. THis song is so catchy and we love the vocals, lyrics and the production build up to the chorus, which is the catchiest part of the song.

“IRL” by TEN is such a high-energy, upbeat track about turning a daydream-like fantasy into a fast-paced, successful reality. This is easily one of our new favourites from TEN. The drum-heavy production, funky guitar and synth sounds, paired with TEN’s effortless rapping, make this song so much fun to listen to.

“bee’s in a garden” is a song about bees (or people) finding their way to the “garden”, which is a safe space, home, or place where you can truly be yourself and grow. This is honestly such a beautiful song and easily one of our new favourites from Concepcion.
