Happy Halloween, music lovers! We’ve rounded up 10 tracks that soundtracked our October!

MICO - MONTHLY MIXTAPE: OCTOBER 2025

Release Date: October 10, 2025

“Parasite” was one of the releases we were most excited about after hearing the snippets and it definitely lived up to the hype. MICO and Haiden Henderson’s vocals blend beautifully, creating an irresistible energy from start to finish. The track’s upbeat production reminds us of Ed Sheeran’s “Shivers”, but with its own unique melody and layering. This song has been on repeat since it dropped and easily takes the top spot as our number one track of the month.

PRYVT - MONTHLY MIXTAPE: OCTOBER 2025

Release Date: October 3, 2025

Are we surprised that another PRYVT release made it onto our Monthly Mixtape? Absolutely not. We love every single song they’ve put out, and as they continue to expand their discography and gear up for their second album, their sound just keeps evolving and getting stronger. On this track, hanuel’s vocals are especially captivating since it’s full of emotion and intensity, perfectly complementing the powerful guitar strumming that drives the song.

“Look At Me Now” is a track we started listening to this month after hearing it live during P1Harmony’s MOST WANTED tour stop in Toronto. The song kicks off with an infectious rock guitar intro, and the electric crunch pairs perfectly with the driving drumbeat and hip-hop-inspired rhythm. The members bring such a confident, effortless energy and this track is the perfect example of how versatile P1Harmony is, blending rock, hip-hop, rap and K-pop into one powerful sound.

“The Winner” was the song that first introduced us to Sydney Ross Mitchell, and we’re so glad it did because we can never have enough powerhouse female artists in our playlist rotation. The track blends acoustic and folk-pop elements, with Sydney’s warm, soulful vocals taking the spotlight. A playful piano hook in the pre-chorus leads into a nostalgic chorus that gives us major early 2000s vibes and we’re absolutely here for it.

“CALL ME YOUR SUNSHINE” is our favourite track from DACEY’s latest EP of the same name.
