Happy August! July delivered another incredible month of music, filled with releases that quickly found a permanent spot on our playlists. From addictive anthems to emotional standouts, these are the six tracks we couldn’t stop playing. Let’s dive in.

“I Just Don’t Know You Yet” first caught our attention while watching Love Island, and it instantly became a standout. With its infectious melody and heartfelt lyrics, it’s the kind of song that lingers long after it ends. It definitely had us in our feelings, and Absolutely’s unique style has made us eager to hear even more from the artist.

“home” has quickly become one of our favourite songs from scotty. Taken from his EP home, the track is both tender and deeply vulnerable, exploring the beauty and messiness of love in equal measure. Paired with stunning production, scotty’s heartfelt lyrics shine throughout, creating a song that’s as emotionally resonant as it is sonically beautiful.

“Came to Dance” is a track we discovered this month after stumbling across it on an Arabic mix playlist, and it immediately caught our attention. Blending smooth R&B with dance influences, Arabic and English lyrics, and a funky old-school groove, the song delivers a fresh yet nostalgic sound that we can’t get enough of. This track introduced us to Badaro, and we’ve been completely obsessed with exploring his music ever since.

“Joy” is ROLE MODEL’s latest release and a pre-release single from his upcoming album Chuck Timely & The Hourglass, arriving August 7. The track explores themes of searching for happiness, personal growth, and emotional vulnerability, capturing the complexity of finding joy within yourself. With its beautiful melodies, “Joy” has us even more excited for what’s to come from the album.

“99 Degrees” is a track by NCT’s JAEHYUN. that we can’t stop listening to, and not just because he’s our bias. The song stands out for its thoughtful lyrics and the way JAEHYUN uses temperature as a metaphor for love, embracing imperfection through the idea of being one degree away from the boiling point. The concept is both creative and emotionally resonant, making the track even more special. We truly hope JAEHYUN continues to release more music, as he has become one of our favourite artists.
