B-Side Rituals Spotlight: Lily Forte
Artist on Cover: Lily Forte [@lilygraceforte]

Welcome back to our B-Side Rituals Spotlight series!

For the month of January, we’re featuring Los Angeles–based alt-pop, indie pop, and retro rock/blues singer Lily Forte.

Lily Forte made her debut on December 4, 2020, with the single “I Was Wearing Green”, a pre-release track from her debut EP Losing the Illusion, which released on June 25, 2021. She continued releasing singles throughout 2022 and 2023, leading up to her first full-length album, Can’t Handle Hollywood, released on December 13, 2024.

We discovered Lily through her single “Miles To Go”, released on October 17, 2025, after receiving her press release and we’ve been hooked ever since. She followed up with “Out of the Blue” on November 14, 2025, which has quickly become our favourite track in her discography. Her sound channels an Amy Winehouse–esque soulfulness, but with a distinct, modern twist that feels entirely her own. Lily closed out the year with “The Luckiest”, released on December 12, 2025.

With 5.6K monthly listeners on Spotify, Lily Forte is an artist we’re excited to watch grow in 2026 and beyond.

We hope you love Lily Forte’s music as much as we do and hope you’ll stick around and follow her journey.
