Welcome back to the 10th part of our series, “B-Side Rituals Hidden Gems” where we spotlight incredible artists we’ve recently discovered. In this edition, we’re sharing six artists we’ve come across over the past few months, as it’s been a while since our last feature back in September.

2BYG is a teenage R&B boy band from Fort Worth, Texas with 49.3K monthly listeners on Spotify. Their musical style blends the smooth nostalgia of 90s R&B with modern soul influences. The group consists of Matt Brown, Tourè, Nixx, and KD, and their name, 2BYG, stands for “To Be Young & Gifted.” They made their debut on April 25, 2025, with the single “Karma”, which was a pre-release track for their debut album, The Yearbook, which was released on November 7, 2025, under Def Jam.
Following their debut, the group released a Christmas single, “One Christmas Wish,” in November. Although the group is still very new and we don’t know much of their story, we quickly fell in love with their sound, especially “Karma,” which first caught our attention after Hwang In Yeop featured the song in his recent instagram post.
We’re excited to follow 2BYG’s journey as they continue to grow and define their place in the new wave of R&B.

JAEIN is a newly debuted artist we discovered through his TikTok videos. While little is currently known about him, he has already gained around 6.5K monthly listeners on Spotify, showing promising early traction.
He made his debut on January 29, 2026, with the single “Let It Pass.” Following his debut, he released “Exchange” on March 8. Both tracks are incredibly catchy and showcase a refreshing vibe that immediately stands out.
Although JAEIN is still at the beginning of his career, his early releases have already sparked our interest, and we’re excited to follow along as his journey unfolds.

Shye is an independent artist from Singapore with around 98.6K monthly listeners. Her father is English and mother is Singaporean-Chinese which shaped her musical style. She made her debut on May 1, 2018, with the single “One Fine Day”. She has consistently released music since her debut and even released three albums; Augus7ine on August 16, 2018, days to morning glory on December 11, 2020, hello TRINITY on November 12, 2021, idk it’s complicated on October 7, 2022 and 9LIVES on October 6, 2023.
She made her debut on May 1, 2018, with the single “One Fine Day” Since then, Shye has consistently released music and built an impressive discography, including the albums Augus7ine (August 16, 2018), days to morning glory (December 11, 2020), *hello TRINITY* (November 12, 2021), idk it’s complicated (October 7, 2022), and *9LIVES* (October 6, 2023).
Shye started 2026 with the release of “Eclipse” on January 23. We recently discovered her through her latest single, “II Always Knew,” released on March 6, which was featured on Spotify Singapore’s “Rising 65” playlist.

PRETTY BLEAK is an Australian indie-pop/emo band from Victoria, blending dark pop, 80s new wave, and shoegaze. They currently have 123.7K monthly listeners on Spotify. The group formed in 2019 and consists of Sam Thomas, Kyle Charleston, Sanji Aneja, and Cherie Bridgeman. In 2020, they released the single “jawline,” followed by their EP BLOOD in 2021.
“jawline” was later included on their full-length album in retrospect, which dropped on March 6, 2024. We discovered the band through Instagram ads, and the first tracks we listened to were “when the weather gets better” and “i still feel for you” from December 4, 2024.
They have been consistently releasing music since their debut. In July 2025, they released their latest EP coming to terms with it all, followed by their b-side, which included three additional singles in October 2025.
This summer, PRETTY BLEAK is set to make their international debut in Japan at Summer Sonic festival. They are also preparing to release a new single on March 18, titled “something she’d like.”

chiabiee is an Asian-American pop artist from the Bay Area, currently based in Los Angeles. She has around 104.9K monthly listeners on Spotify and made her debut on August 20, 2021, with the single “worth it,” a collaboration with jstnwng.
We first discovered chiabiee in 2024 through her single “cherri,” released on February 18, 2023. Since her debut, she has consistently released music, and we recently came back to her work following the release of “need me” on November 7, 2025.
“need me” served as a pre-release track for her debut EP crash, which dropped on November 21, 2025.

Sam Drysdale is an artist from Toronto, Ontario who blends folk, Americana, and acoustic-driven pop with rich storytelling and heartfelt lyricism. He made his debut on June 7, 2019, with his first album, *Vicelove* and currently has 114K monthly listeners.
Following his debut, Drysdale continued releasing singles, leading up to his second EP, Testarossa, which arrived on January 28, 2022, followed by a deluxe version on April 1, 2022. He later released another full-length album, Bonnie’s Sad Songs, on November 25, 2024.
We discovered Drysdale after hearing his single “Cold Water,” released on August 12, 2025. His most recent single, “Who’s Gonna Love You The Way I Do,” followed in October 2025.
