Welcome back to our B-Side Rituals Spotlight series!

This month, we’re highlighting Palestinian Arab R&B singer and songwriter Badaro (Bxdaro), an artist based between Dubai, where he grew up, and Toronto. Known for his “new Arabia” sound, Badaro blends Arabic melodies with influences from reggaeton, hip-hop and Afrobeats. He also sings in English and Arabic.

Badaro made his debut on December 24, 2021, with the single “HABITS” featuring CUBA. Since then, he has consistently released music, leading to his first EP, Baba’s Love Songs, which was released on October 9, 2025.

We discovered Badaro about two weeks ago after hearing his track “Came to Dance,” released on May 14, 2026. His latest release, “BIT7EBINI?”, arrived on July 16, 2026.

We love how catchy and unique his sound is, and we’re excited to continue following Badaro’s musical journey as he continues to grow as an artist.
