Welcome back to our B-Side Rituals Spotlight series! For the month of December, we’re featuring Pennsylvania-raised, Los Angeles-based indie pop singer Avery Lynch.

Avery first gained popularity in 2020 after posting a TikTok cover of Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now.” She made her official debut on June 22, 2020 with her single “I Put You First (& You Did Too),” which later appeared on her debut EP To Love Someone Else, released on September 4, 2020.

She released her first album, As Written, Vol. 1 , on February 19, 2021, followed by her sophomore album, The Kids Table, in August 2022. We actually started listening to Avery after discovering her in December 2023 following the release of her EP *Friction VI.*

Since her debut, Avery has consistently released music and most recently dropped another incredible album, Glad We Met, on September 5, 2025, which is a true no-skip album for us.

Her artistry and musical style are so unique and beautiful. We’re huge fans of her emotional, in-depth lyricism and warm, expressive vocals. We’re so excited to continue supporting her journey for the third year in a row.
