ATEEZ - 30 Songs We Loved In 2025

Released on: June 13, 2025

Lemon Drop” is the title track from ATEEZ’s twelfth EP GOLDEN HOUR: Part.3, and we featured it on our On Rotation playlist in July. This high-energy track pairs bold, hip-hop-inspired production with a catchy, unforgettable hook. Using “Lemon Drop” as a metaphor for something both sour and sweet, the song captures the intense, bittersweet feeling of falling in love. It was on repeat for us all summer and honestly, for the rest of the year too.

TWISTED PARADISE” is a pre-release single from YUTA’s debut album PERSONA. Call It Off” was a collaboration we were excited about from the moment Emotional Oranges and JAEHYUN teased photos from their studio session. Emotional Oranges’ smooth R&B/soul sound blends seamlessly with JAEHYUN’s K-pop/KR&B style, creating a natural and effortless fusion. From the first listen, the track was stuck in our heads, and we especially love its fun, groovy production.

Leah Kate - 30 Songs We Loved In 2025

Released on: October 3, 2025

We discovered Leah Kate back in October with the release of this track, and it’s been on constant repeat ever since and even stuck in our heads. She has such a distinct, cool edge, and we love how her sound effortlessly blends pop, pop-punk, and electro-pop. “Not To Be Dramatic” is a bold anthem that captures the all-consuming obsession of wanting someone’s attention so badly that you’re willing to do reckless, self-destructive, and dramatic things to get it. This is an intense and unapologetic anthem that is impossible not to sing along to.

This was easily one of the most iconic bops of our year and we’re still obsessed. From the choreography to the catchy lyrics and JENNIE herself, everything about this track feels like perfection. It’s a fun, empowering girl-boss anthem where JENNIE fully embraces her confidence and individuality, while encouraging others to own their quirks and shine unapologetically. She doesn’t follow trends, she sets them.

“hometown” by brynne is a reflective track exploring the bittersweet emotions of growing up and experiencing change, with a deep sense of nostalgia for home. Written as he turned 20, brynne captures the fear of growing up and the uncertainty of the future, reflecting on the past and his present self. The song’s moody, introspective lyrics tie perfectly into brynne’s signature style and artistry, and it’s a track we couldn’t get out of our heads.

Did I Say Too Much” was the track that truly got us fully listening to The Beaches’. We had been casual listeners before, but this song turned us into full-on fans, so much so that we went to see them perform live this year. It’s a fun, punchy indie-rock track that captures the intensity and messiness of queer heartbreak, especially the feeling of falling hard for someone who doesn’t reciprocate and wondering if you revealed too much of your heart. Hearing it live only amplified our love for the song, making it hit ten times harder.

In The Air” was the perfect song to kick off our 2025. The calm track carries a sense of intention that feels both peaceful and meaningful. take me for granted” is a track we featured in our September On Rotation playlist. It comes from 0WAVE’s latest EP, corny plots, which we loved from start to finish. The song carries a melancholic rock sound and explores the painful feeling of being used and unappreciated in a relationship, and being taken for granted despite the beautiful memories and genuine connection that once existed. There’s a quiet sense of recognition and acceptance woven into the lyrics, and the production paired with the band’s vocals is truly top-tier.

PRYVT, BIG Naughty - 30 Songs We Loved In 2025

WHEN I GO” is a song we first heard live in 2024 when PRYVT performed in Toronto and it’s absolutely addictive. The track explores the heart-wrenching theme of losing the memory of someone you love, which can be felt either from the perspective of the person forgetting or the one watching them fade. While it fits PRYVT’s signature indie-rock style, the emotional lyrics give it a melancholic edge. The collaboration with BIG Naughty is flawless, their styles blending seamlessly to create a track that’s both powerful and unforgettable.

DtMF” is our favourite track from Bad Bunny’s album DeBÍ TiRAR Más FOTos. The song reflects on wishing he had taken more photos with someone special, capturing a mix of nostalgia and sentimentality. We’ve been longtime Bad Bunny fans and even went through a phase of full-on obsession, and this track brought us right back. It’s beautifully written, incredibly catchy, and the heartfelt message makes it even more memorable.

Ashavari - 30 Songs We Loved In 2025

“I Wish I Was A.I.” is a dark, pop-inspired track from Ashavari and easily one of her strongest songs to date. DAISIES” was our favourite track from Justin Bieber’s surprise comeback album SWAG. Like so many others, we were thrilled to see him return to music. It’s a feel-good track that perfectly reminds us why we’ve always loved Justin’s pop instincts.

+82 Pressin’” was released ahead of MARK’s debut album The Firstfruit and features a collaboration with his fellow NCT 127 and NCT Dream member, HAECHAN. The track stood out to us for its upbeat production and instantly catchy chorus, making it an exciting preview of what was to come. It made us even more excited for MARK’s album, which later earned a spot on our Best Albums of 2025 list.

Umbrella (10:00)” is another standout track we featured in our On Rotation playlist last month. We discovered JUNHEE through this song after it appeared on Spotify’s All New K-Pop playlist and was later included on his debut album, The First Day & Night. We’re so glad we found JUNHEE because his sound feels fresh, fun, and effortlessly charming. The song explores the pain of a one-sided love, where someone only reaches out during moments of loneliness, using the umbrella as a metaphor for temporary comfort. The “10:00” references a specific, familiar time, adding an extra layer of intimacy and longing to the track.

Don’t Put It All On Me” is a stunning blend of country, folk, and pop. Noah Cyrus is an artist we’ve admired since forever, and this might be one of our new favourite songs of hers. The track feels ethereal, and the Fleet Foxes feature adds the perfect touch. We were lucky enough to hear it live at the All Things Go Festival in October, and it was even more magical in person, giving us goosebumps.

Carpet Burn” was released ahead of Bradley Simpson’s debut album *The Panic Years,* which was featured in our Best Albums of 2025 article. **We’ve been fans of Bradley Simpson for over a decade, so this release felt especially exciting. We also had the chance to hear it live, which made it even more special. The song captures the bittersweet feeling of falling in love and wishing for more time with someone, perfectly embodying the lingering “what if” that often comes with relationships.

MONA LISA” is another track we had the chance to experience live this year. It’s an incredibly catchy hip-hop/R&B song that uses Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting as a metaphor for a captivating, independent woman. The track centres on being completely mesmerized by a confident “work of art” woman who needs no validation. It was constantly stuck in our heads, and we also loved the choreography that brought the song to life on stage.

JUNNY - 30 Songs We Loved In 2025

POV” was released the day after JUNNY’s birthday (April 6) as part of his double-single EP *96.* Short for “point of view,” the track finds JUNNY reflecting on his journey from childhood to the present, openly expressing the emotions that come with growth and self-reflection. True to his artistry, the song is deeply introspective and thoughtful, and it not only became one of our favourites from his discography but also our top song of 2025.
